Some weird stuff !!!
Last time I was checking the health of the system in the bios I noticed the cpu temperature was very high 80°C... The system however works great no slowdowns or anything.... The cooler is a factory P4 cooling....
But I remember reading something somewhere that the mobo could be reading the cpu temp wrong.... Any suggestions ???
I checked the cooler and it was working but rather slowly (I think). It's a 4pin one... and then it happend : I accidently pulled out the cooler but it was back in place very rapidly, but now whenever I turn on the PC it says Cpu Fan not installed, when the fan is indeed plugd in... also the fan spins but after this warning the fan stops spinning.... What the F...????
What should I do next ???

The fan may be spinning but that error may come up because the fan is spinning extremely slowly.

Also it may run fine at 80 but its probably underclocking itself because its getting too hot. Re seat your cooler or buy a new one. Also try a different fan.

I've been thinking of buying a new cooler, and I hear a lot of good things of coolers with heatpipe technology. But still I have a read a few things about it.. It works with a liquid that evaporates and then returns to the cpu(cooler), but My pc housing is a tower model so the cooler is placed on it's side.... Will the cooling still work ???? Because I heard the most effective way is when the cooler is in it's upright position, like it would in a desktop housing.... Any ideas about this ???

UPDATE :

Found the problem guys......
The cooler wasn't on it's place, because the temps ust kept going up... so last night I was giving it another look, And in the hardware monitor in the bios
the temp was almost 90°C and I gave the CPU cooler a good push and I noticed the temp was going down really fast, so it wasn't properly fitted, probably out of it's place because of frequent transportation (not anymore, now I have a laptop )....
Now the temps are 45 idle and 55-65 under stress....
I have however ordered another cooler
Arctic Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler

PS : The fan was working perfectly, but I had set 3-pin in the bios instead of 4-pin, that's why it was acting weird...
