the supposition there is that the middle east (i.e the whole area and all its people) want to blow up the west. Where as its just as likely a home grown non racial or religious person who just hates things they way they are is just as equally volatile.
Still your assumption indeed may be too much of a risk not to take given the consequences but i cant help but feel the west hasn't helped out by invading countries left right and center and killing over 1,000,000 people by proxy... just think about that for a second and try imagine the graves. This happened in our life time with our voted leaders.
I agree something has to be done to kerb 'terrorism' and nuclear threats most definitely but until we all have a grown up discussion about why people end up hating other people and what its all really
about then its always going to be the same.
