I'm rank 12 or something, got an even spread of cert's spent, I just don't see myself ever earning 100CP/200CP for the next level of perks, especially multiple times over. I play for an entire day, and I only seem to make around 40-50, levelling is very very slow, and I get what feels like one shot most of the time. The times I do get into battle though, and get the drop on people, I'm usually very successful, which is what made me fall in love with PS2, so many people that don't observe their surroundings, you can literally stealth using any class, and just infiltrate anywhere, but in larger battles you have no chance.
On the server I'm on, TR is always at a disadvantage, getting dominated by the same players over and over. This one guy called Snakey or something, plants proximity mines EVERYWHERE, the last week, he has plagued my battlegrounds, uses a PDW all the time, and never seems to move, just camps the base you spawn in. I wonder why this guy just seems to target me haahaha!
to all the 'p2win' claimants, please give me ONE example of an infantry weapon that gives you a significant advantage over a default gun in all situations.... as every single gun in the game is a sidegrade. you are trading situational weapons from a standard jack-of-all-trades weapon. as far as the starting tr weapons, the carv is an excellent weapon, but like pretty much every single gun in the game, it needs to have some certs put into it to be most effective. either forward grip or laser sight, depending on the weapon. the nc gauss is the same way, i kept that instead of getting the anchor... i get roflstomped in close quarters by those with smgs and whatnot AS I SHOULD BE; but at the greater distances, I put them down before they can close the gap. I don't know how much I can stress the point that you can either be mediocre at everything or good at one thing. there is no possible way to be able to just solo a base and ward off infantry AND planes AND tanks.. you are going to be sad when one of those comes along, no matter what. you should not be able to even solo a plane or tank as an infantry that would make them paperthin and pretty pointless. anyways, what server are you on where tr is sooo underpopulated that they don't have a chance to accomplish anything? and for the guy who plagues you, he can carry 1, maybe 2 proxy mines, which are pretty easy to see if you are moving with caution. also, it seems to me that you know where he is, kill him where he is at a disadvantage, engage him at range. you also have the option of spending a few certs and dropping some mines of your own...

Glad to hear they are finally optimizing it for multi cores after complaining so much about how difficult it is.
this is simply incorrect. I have played since launch with a 2600k and a single 560ti, and i don't drop below 45 in HUGE fights, even on some the patches that made the game a lil slow. i run @1080p with highest settings, AO/MB off, and usually keep 90+fps, exception of huge battles and biolabs, which are still more than playable. there have been some other issues, but the framerate for team green n blue has always been pretty darn good.
also, i see you are saying 'top of the line i7' but your sig shows a phenom. are you speaking from actual experience (where you would have probably said the model instead of a vague term) or did you have trouble on your older equipment, and see a different person with better hardware also having trouble, that may or may not have been due to his hardware, and assume the game was running poorly for everyone? because it isn't. I have a good cpu and a mediocre gpu and it runs like a champ.
as far as team red having low fps.. well you can't say this is surprising. amd seems to have had pretty poor driver support over the past few years and people usually go in knowing this... but most of that seems to be in the past as far as this game is concerned; just dont blame this game when the issue is in a good number of other games too.Edited by -SE7EN- - 11/17/13 at 9:27am
