Preferred Cool and Quiet Settings

Thread Starter
hey OC peeps,

I am wondering if "Cool and Quiet" should be "Disabled by CPU", or just completely disabled for overclocking. "Disabled by CPU" almost sounds like the cpu might decide to use it when it wants to. I am running the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 mobo

Thanks

Just turn it off all together. It will get in the way of overclocking. Cool and Quiet basically reduces energy consumption and in a sense "down clocks" your CPU.
