Thread Starter
Hi again,

Like i said, every card is different. Some OC way more than others. Thats why i did only up to 1150mhz tests. In my honest opinion - most people dont run their cards over that frequency anyway. Perhaps only for showing off their scores but not for 24/7.
Im sorry, i dont have time to make more game benches at the moment. I chose TR and BF4 because those are the 2 elite games which stress GPUs the most. As you can see, the GTX 780 won TR test by small margin and didnt do bad at BF4.
Having gamed and tested both cards a lot, i can honestly say, its all about what you prefer more.
Nvidia = AMD if only games FPS counted. That is my conclusion.
The rest of the downsides and upsides of both cards you all know anyway. smile.gif

I have the R9 290, Powercolor, it unlocked to a full 290X, which is great except it is much louder now. I did buy an aftermarket cooler though, so hopefully once that is on there I will have the best of both worlds.

An unlocked R9 290 kept cool and quiet with an aftermarket cooler and overclocked, maybe I can even hit 1100+ with the PT1 bios, well that would be an awesome thing. All for under $500.
