Just an FYI, Shadowplay doesn't touch your CPU so whatever the issue was before wasn't due to utilizing cpu threads. Not sure why they even put up a minimum cpu requirement initially.

It's about darn time they fixed that. There was a workaround I've been using, but this is much better.

Any type of recording software do use CPU to transcode video data to HDD/SSD. Shadowplay is very similar of Action! from Mirillis company. The only thing that it makes it look exclusive to Nvidia GPU because it is bundle with the GeForce driver.
