Both these guys are playing musical price chairs over the past couple days but I'll leave the links up anyway as they might go back down again sometime this week.

http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Blaster-Beamforming-Microphone-SB1500/dp/B009ISU33E

Both places $74.99

I paid $95 for mine right after they came out and am more than happy with it. At $65 it's a steal.

If you are an Audiophile yes... if not then you probably wont notice the difference if you happen to have a decent mobo that is.

That depends. Only reason why I bought it was I ditched my receiver + 5.1 speaker setup in my office/man cave. Way overkill for a smaller room and my ears have been paying the price. redface.gif I was use to running the hdmi out from the video card to a receiver since the AMD HD5000 graphics cards came out. So, if you're setup is like what I ran then no...but if you're using an onboad sound card, then yes.

I had higher end M-Audio & Auzentech sound cards in the past but they haven't released anything recently and this was cheap enough to try out.

Worth it if you have decent speakers or headphones to tie them to, and also if you care about audio a lot. biggrin.gif
