I was getting pretty decent battery life, with that type of screen use, I'd normally be at about 15% after 15 hours, so not a HUGE jump, but its still a nice little bump. Under heavy use, it's probably about the same.

My Nexus 4 got the update - not sure if I'm liking it yet or not as it's feeling sluggish, which the Nexus 4 has never felt like before (might have to do a fresh reinstall and see if that helps).

Did you root and unlock? Custom kernel or ROM? I had to flash mine back to stock jss15r and then run the update in order for it to work.

I'm loving it! They totally fixed all the touch screen and keyboard issues. They also fixed the auto wake function on my smartcase. Chrome seems a lot faster and also runs cooler on my tablet too!

After my time with the Nexus 4, I never knew that phone to be 'sluggish' in any sense. I'd try a fresh install. Not saying that it won't eventually happen, but it was an impressive device.

Well some people were reporting that but I don't have any such issue. Before flashing 4.4, my config. was:
4.3 JWR66Y, Rooted, Unlocked, Franco's kernel and TWRP recovery.

So when I got the OTA, I had a few verification errors when flashing 4.4. Installed back the stock kernel, still the same error, (file was missing/modified by franco's kernel). Flashed the system image of JWR66Y and then flashed 4.4, its working flawlessly now. Rooted it again and installed TWRP from openrecovery, that went smoothly as well.

First impressions? Battery life is surely better now!

p.s That was for my N4^. N7 2013 was total stock so it was basic OTA download, auto-install and done.
