Gpu Usage all over the place BF4 - Page 2

hi, visual errors has nothing to do with the cpu, video card has some issues, save yourself money and try to debug that video card.

In another note, just before you tell me that ''But in other games i get no issues'' games use diferent medhoods and ways to produce data, and if its not high enough you wont ''burnin'' the gpu chipset, bf4 is a very taxing game, its logical that stressed, you are more inclined to see artifacting, with this, does not mean, that any video game or benchmark should present artifacts.

something is not right, no gpu should artefact at any circumstances.

one question, did you leave the fan at 55% while pushing the slider to 20% tdp limit? if so, try to enable it to 100% for testing porpouses. if you do so plz provide the gpu temperatures over a 15min gaming session,

BTW
the new after burner beta monitors cpu ussage and temperatures, providing that would be usefull.

if you upgrade without debuging that video card, you are gonna scratch your head when u have a new system and prolly have same issues.

Thread Starter
I set the power limit to 20% with fan speed at 60% and no problems there. And the temp was no higher then 65c playing bf4, but the gpu usage was still doing the same thing. What does the power limit actually do anyways? and will it hurt my gpu in any way if i make it go to 100%

I guess your not paying attention to what ive wrote, new amd cards have a tpd,-vrm-temp limit wich can lower your gpu usage-performance, and if you are not even trying to do as sudgested I wont even bother to post anymore on this thread, gl with your card mate.

1.- I I sudgested is that u raised power limit to 20 (there is no 100 in that option son)

2.- what I said to put in 100% was the fan speed so we could take out heat in the equation

3.- artifacts while doing anything on a gpu is a sign of overheat, and you are not paying attention.

laters

ps: btw just because the gpu reports 65c doenst mean the vrm are not overheating. oh and vrm are the ones that control the voltages on the card, u know.... the ones that give power to the whole board.
