Going to purchase Korean 1440p need help choosing

Thread Starter
I sold all my monitors, some water blocks and some other misc parts now I want to spend what i made selling on a new 1440p monitor.

Requirements
  • Must have HDMI hookup for XBOX/PS3 I can switch console if it only has one HDMI port
  • Build in speakers
  • Want to overclock as much as possible
  • Doesn't have to be "Perfect Pixel" but would be nice
  • Thinner the better

Got around 410 + S/H (will go to about $450 + S/H)

I was looking at the QNIX QX2710, Yamakasi Q271, Crossover 2730MD(-P) and cant really find any information on if one is better than the other. Anyone got any suggestions for me? I'm going for quality picture and overclocking first and foremost. If there's a model or another brand that isn't listed by all means, POST IT. I'm looking to buy within the month. (my laptop is all I got at the moment)

I have twin 580s for the resolution, so that is covered. Thanks for the help.

None of the Korean monitors have anything besides a dual DVI input. You might be able to get this splitter to work. From what I've seen, they don't have speakers either.

They're all pretty much the same. I have the QNIX and I love it.

You can't have both multi input Korean monitor and overclockable in the same time.. only the single input DVI-D dual link monitors like the Qnix QX2710 & X-Star DP2710 can be overclocked, check here http://www.overclock.net/t/1384767/official-the-korean-pls-monitor-club-qnix-x-star

I would go for the cheapest, no point for paying a lot for Korean monitor.

actually multi input monitors with DP / HDMI are available beside the single input DVI-D dual link, most have built in speakers, and I'm sure that the adapters won't work with the single input DVI-D dual link.

You are wrong.

QX2710 DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort inputs is also lists built in speakers. So unless this was being sold incorrectly, they do exist.
