I don't know it just looks like Counter Strike to me. I thought it was going to be much more complicated with breaching like Rainbow Six: Raven Shield where if you didn't have a mask on and they threw tear gas grenades you would choke and and have your vision blurred. If you opened a door without checking it there could be a claymore behind it and blow you to pieces.

Try CS 1.6 or Source, I didn't like CS GO as the hit boxes are wonky and the tracers firing out of your gun are not accurate and mess up your shots where you think you were hitting. Avoid CS GO, fortunately for me I bought CS GO when it was heavily discounted on Steam so not much of a loss to me.

well counter strike used a diffrent enginge then UT/QUAKE/TAC OPS

so i was thinking about quake live...
is it free to play?
got huge community?

i also saw new game named xonotic that seems like a newer version of quake live?

Quake live is free, and its community is fairly large (not CoD large but you know what I mean) Xonotic is a stand alone game based on quake as well, it should be similar to UT99 Deathmatch but I'm not to sure on how large the community is

But yeah I second Counter Strike Source. CS 1.6 *technically* used the quake engine. Generally CS isn't as fast paced as UT was

i think ill try the quake live/xonotic
i do have cs1.6 but i cant stand the fact that ppl camp and play super slow...

just cant do it man...im a PURE UT/TACOPS player...i born to those games and its in my blood to rush and kick heads...

so i guess quake/xonotic will do the job ^_^

thanks.

I would give anything for a new flagship built-for-PC Unreal Tournament game that lived up to to the original. I never got to play that much online back in the day because my internet connection was so poor. My online play peaked with UT2003/04, but I always regretted missing out on UT's golden age online.

You may be interested in Team Fortress 2. Heck of a competitive community for that game. Plus, the pubs are fun and the action is fast. Quite a complex/deep game once you get into it.
