The price point between the cases is negligible.
I'm leaning towards the XL R2. All air cooling, at least initially; here's what else will be crammed into it (plz note that "realistic build" is the page I'd like to direct your attention towards): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApzIz1YSh_e7dEZYb3RORFZxU21jUDh0MWRRSkhhcUE&usp=sharing
For those of you tl;dr people, that's one Titan, 32GB of ddr3 at 2400MHz, an 88x mobo with an a10-6800k on stock air with PK-1 as a TIM. I can't think of a reason to go with any of the larger cases. I can tell you that with the HAF midtower, the front panel grill on that thing is non-removable and really dusty. I don't know what a case with fully removable and cleanable grills would look like, but I'd like a case that doesn't last a month before it looks as bad as a vintage chassis after 10 years of forgoing air-in-a-can.

Also thinking about front panel stuff, but it's not that important, since I'm probably going to go with headphones that have a ridiculously long cable.

I'm trying to get second opinions for picking a case out tonight. Not sure whether I should wait until Cyber Monday or not.
I made a spreadsheet to compare the prices and a few other notes about ease of use and size.

I have a HAF X myself and the only thing i have to complain about is the top filters

Only way to get to them is to take both sides off so you can press some taps to get the top off

Front filter is way easy to get off on the other hand

I just ordered a 750d from newegg last night, they are sold out now. I don't know when they will be restocked. it does look like it has a lot of dust filters. just my 2 cents

Bought the XL R2, black version. I'll probably review it briefly after probably a few weeks of using it. I still haven't bought a full loadout of hardware, so it's going to be a while.
