Try to find a single store that categorize laser diodes as LEDs
an LED is a specific component, while a laser diode is another, because there's major differences in how the two work.
And by that I don't even care to keep arguing about the same thing over and over, as since you obviously care enough I'm sure you wouldn't mind finding some sources that defines laser diodes as LEDs?
Just because I've been too tempted for tool long:
The vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser, or VCSEL /ˈvɪksəl/, is a type of semiconductor laser diode (Also note how this is unrelated to what an LED is)
