Go get the link, or show in the video where AMD says that it does. I'll wait.
Wow, you seriously believe that Mantle won't run on Intel processors? Holy hell! Well, that explains a lot of your position and statements, let me help you.
The Mantle APi, and other APi, are for the GPU, it is the GPU that dictates what APi is supported, not the CPU....so long as it is an x86. The CPU relation to the APi, and Mantle, is more about resource management and allocation than anything. Mantle is here to remove the resource issues, and remove the CPU bottleneck, so that the GPU can perform at the highest of levels.
I don't understand how you can honestly believe that Mantle won't work if you have an Intel processor in your system.
That is why you see on video card boxes big bold letters that say "Direct X 11 Supported!", and those very big stickers aren't on the CPU! It is the GPU that determines which APi is supported, not the CPU!
It is sad, you have ran around every AMD thread, especially Mantle, and screamed how trash it is when you clearly don't even understand on a basic level what you are talking about. I haven't sat down and wrote code of any sort in 12+ years, and I can still remember at least some of the very basics!Edited by PostalTwinkie - 11/14/13 at 12:16pm
