when you set AI overclock tuner to manual...cpu bus frequency will appear,,don't worry about HT link speed,,you might change that when your trying to tweak in a high overclock like 4.8 or higher
cpu bus frequency will be 200mhz at stock values,,,,you could bump it to 205 at first,,,then maybe 2 -3 at a time,,,slowly bump the frequency up,,,run prime 95 for ,,hmmmm15-20 mins,,then try again,,,if it errrors or crashes,,that usually means more voltage is needed,,
TBH,,if you want to make 4ghz using FSB,,your going to have to get the FSB to 230mhz,,thats gonna make some serious heat,,,you would be better to increase multis till you get maybe 3.8 or so,,then increase the FSB a little to get it to 4ghz,,,
o ya and the cpu voltage,,well it might be OK on auto,,,4ghz on a 6300 is easy,,,,it just might be OK on auto,,,but like I said earlier,,,a high voltage will make more heat,,and auto settings on a motherboard will be higher than they should be,,,so if your temps are OK,,,hmmmm,,every board and chip are different so you just see what happensEdited by trailer park boy - 11/16/13 at 6:05am
