Yeah, HPC GPUs have MSRPs of $3000.00 and up. I'm in the biz and recently sold 24 of the Nvidia Tesla cards; 3 per server on this one job. Solution was to provide virtual desktops for the heavy AutoDesk users in a particular company. Nvidia has owned this niche and their products in this segment are very matured. They have a card called Grid that will also support multiple virtual desktop users. So, multiple users can tap the same card. AMD has a lot of work to do if they want to make a worthy impact and I hope they do because $5k to $7k per card is quite ridiculous. This is where Nvidia truly rakes it in. Our "enthusiast" market segment that we represent is only the half of it, if that.

I bet really good. From the description, and the amount of memory it has, it's sounds like that's exactly what it's designed for.
