the first one wont work, the second one will work, or u can just get a wrt54gl router and go in config and set it up as a bridge and u are ready to go, also it has 4 ports if u wanted to hook other stuff to it to. http://www.buy.com/prod/Linksys_WRT5...tml?adid=17662

So what would I actually connect to the XBOX 360 if I used this router?

u would just set up the router w/ a pc then take it to where ever ur 360 is and it should connect wirelessly to ur other router. you just hook ur 360 up to it, also u prolly dont need all 4 ports and in that case u can just get the bridge since u will probly just hook up your 360 to it.

I picked up another Linksys wrt54gs a few weeks back put the dd-wrt firmware on it and made it into a wireless bridge on my wireless network. It works SWEET. I can hook 4 devices into it and they can all have internet access for $60CDN. Works great, I highly recommend if you already have a wireless setup running and multiple console/devices needing internet access and no way/desire to run cat5.
