Diablo should have gone first person SP/Co-Op. I'm certain it was never intended to become a low-brow MMO. During the course of Diablo II it got twisted by the player base.

Blizzard has no Australiasian servers. I can't get a latency better than 180ms. It's simply not possible because they don't have the infrastructure. This means the game can be horribly to play and you get instagibbed. Not fun, and it's why I don't play.

This whole game has just been a massive fail in every way except when it comes to sales. What does that say about the industry? Performance is measured by sales not by customer satisfaction

There you go, straight from the horse's mouth.

Maybe they should lift the limit of 4 people per party if they really gave a crap a

The only difference the lack offline mode makes to my playstyle is that I don't play hardcore.I would only do so offline, not worth the hassle and risk of losing everything due to loss of connection. I do find his justification half-arsed, though - it is clearly a DRM issue. But people that have net connection within reasonable distance of the servers and simply want to experience the game solo can still do so. They can simply ignore everything else, players and auction houses alike and play 100% privately, "untwinked" as we used to say back in D2 days.
