Curious problem... Help? - Page 2

Alright.

I had unplugged the front panel headers and SATA cables to allow my hand to fit past and manipulate things while I was doing the rebuild, and when I re-seated the power switch pins, I put them on the reset, and I have the reset unplugged right now because it needs re-pinning.

SO, it wouldn't start 'cause nothing was TELLING it to start!

Yeah totally...

Now to figure out the Case of the Psychotic Fans, and then I'll be ok!

I am having the same issue with the psychotic fans. I have a Z77 Mpower board and Corsair SP120 PWM high performance fans. I have 12 of these in my case(900D). I'm not trying to power them from the PWM header just get the PWM signal from the header and the power is coming from a molex connector and a SATA connector. If I plug a single fan into any header it works fine but it I plug one of the Swiftech PWM splitters in to any header except the CPU header I get the fans running at 100%. I have the same issue with my MCP35X pump, it will only get PWM signal from the CPU header. My workaround for the has been to daisychain the two headers together for the PWM signal, the downside is that I don't have as much control over the fans and pump as I would like to have.

These are the PWM splitters I am talking about, I have one of each:

Yeah, I got mine Saturday, and the build is now complete!

I have a max of about 40C in BF4 (medium / custom), and everything's stable.
