GTX 680 Artifacts BF4

I can usually play about 30 mins, then I start to get major artifacts in the game. So much so that it is almost not playable. I have tried completely uninstalling drivers, restarting computer, and installing beta drivers. Do you think it could be a GPU issue?

Have you seen temperatures? Do you have dual monitors? Pull up speedfan on one and BF4 on another and see what the temps are. I would guess it's from overheating.

yea, I run two monitors, ill try that in a minute, never really thought it would be overheating with 4 case fans and the cooler on the DCUII OC Asus 680.

So here is an example of what happens. It seems like the textures are tied to my weapon.

And its not overheating. Not getting any where near to high temps, stays nice and chilly.

I've been having the exact same issue with my 690 in BF3, after 20-30 minutes of gaming it would look just like in your pictures.

The solution to the problem was to lower my memory clocks a bit and it stopped artifacting. However I was not satisfied with that solution as I spent a lot of money on my card and wanted it to work at it's full potential, so I RMA'd it.

RMA went smooth with ASUS for some odd reason rolleyes.gif and I had a replacement card back within 4 weeks thumb.gif

So I'd say lower clocks on memory or RMA it.

Yes sometimes I get that artifact in high OC of my card, I guess it's cause by too much in memory OC, just like Eddy said before smile.gif
But now I struggle to make it stable by add volt on core ^_^ so far no artifacting again but if it does again then I really need to lower my memory clock biggrin.gif
