I assume that with all that extra beefiness it takes more to cool it. Although my Gigabyte Windforces don't ever get over 65~ C, I have to assume if I cranked them like a classified it would eventually get hot enough to make it not worth the extra vs a regular card?
TL;DR - is it worth getting a Classy if you aint watercoolin?
yeah it is, the classified can still handle more voltage than a normal card, the 780 classy was doing around 1400 to 1450 on air, most other cards we saw were only in the mid 1300 range on air.
overall the classified and lightning cards are the cards to get if youre overclocking on air, water, ln2, or sub zero space cooling on the face of mars, these cards will 99% of the time do better than other cards.
