Thread Starter
I recently installed Windows 8.1, and I found out after some trial and error that my dual monitor setup is causing problems with the start screen.

Basically, If I click on something, it takes about 10 seconds to respond. For example, if I'm in the start screen and I want to access my desktop by clicking on the desktop tile, it won't do anything for 10 seconds, but my mouse can still move around and click other things. After the 10 or so seconds, it'll pop to the desktop and also to whatever else I clicked that's not a metro app. Once I disable my second monitor, this goes back to being perfectly quick and smooth. This is on a fresh install.

I posted a similar post in the AMD forum, since I have an AMD GPU. After posting, I realized that it's probably better to post here instead of over there. I tried both the standard 13.9 drivers and the 13.11 beta drivers for my GPU.

Any ideas on what could solve this?

Thanks,
Yuki
