New PC or PS4?

I'm considering upgrade my PC or buy a new PS4 until christmas. I don't care if there are not many games on next gen right now, I'm thinking on the long run.

Current PC: Intel 7400 ~4GHz, HD6870, 4GB ddr3 ram and stuff that does not matter;
Upgrades: Intel 3570k, Asus P8Z77 LX and Asus 660ti ~500€ (I'll use only retailers on my counter, US prices are a lot lower than what I can get

Or PS4 for 400€

I would also buy a small case because I want to move the PS4/PC between houses around every 2 weeks/monthly.

My main concerns with the PS4: I'm a racing sim fan, I'm worried that tmy Fanatec CSR (compatible with PC/PS3/XBOX) won't work on the PS4; lack of racing sims
My main concerns with the PC: lack of portability (physically moving it from one place to the other) and it won't last 7 years...

Any thoughts appreciated

get a case with some handles on it and you will be good to go! If you have built you system and know what your doing there should be no reason not to upgrade. i understand the convenience of a consol, but PC performance is unmatched. also you can do upgrades and troubleshoot your system if things go wrong....if your playstation dies you have to call sony and wait for them to care about your problem.....
Only reason i would say to pick up a consol would be for exclusive titles......

I would recommed PC over a consol any day! hope this helps!

Honestly, the majority of answers here are going to be biased (remember what site you're on)

Do what is the most cost effective option is best for you - if you just want a decent gaming machine that will outlast most current PCs for quite a while and care about the PS4 exclusives, get one.

Else, upgrade.

If you're using racing sims/games as a motivation, I'd sooner choose the PC myself because of just how many relatively realistic titles there are (the F1 games, iRacing, rFactor, etc)

As for portability, like Sparda09 said a handle will do wonders (or perhaps something like a GearGrip sling if you want to do it in a way that isn't as sexy but just as versatile)
