Viewing 3D on a 2D monitor?

Is this possible by using certain glasses? Sorry, i'm completely clueless when it comes to 3D technology. I wasn't interested initially, now i'm intrigued. Google doesn't seem to give me anything on this strangely.. I'm guessing it's not possible but I thought I would ask anyway smile.gif.

There is Anaglyph 3D (aka Cyan / Red glasses), you can use that on a 2D monitor - Nvidia has a setting for it, not sure about AMD side of things, but certain games support it as well (I've used it on Dead Space and Test Drive Unlimited for kicks and giggles)
