[video log/case mod] Reanimation - The Core Reactor 2 Haswell build (Complete)

Methodology

This is another reactor build with an antec dual front radiator mod in push-pull config. My previous build was in an original antac 900 with a dual and single radiator and an external 250ml Frozen-Q reservoir. (Build Log - Core Reactor.

I love the looks of the antec cases, and for their time they were MASSIVE! now-a-days they are on the smaller size and give almost no cable management.

This build will encompass a haswell CPU with the dual radiator mod and I will place the 250ml inside the case! There is enough room with planning and measurements in this case, with a big window mod. to see it all.
Goals & Reasoning

This will be a second client build, I am selling this once it is finished in hopes to build my ultimate "gold and Black" build. This build will be using the remaining parts that didnt go into Client build 1 (build log - from rags to riches).

Reanimation part 1 of 2

Reanimation part 2 of 4

Reanimation Fill Port part 1 - planning and disassembly

Reanimation Fill Port part 2 - Filling the loop and finished product

UPDATE!!! 12/13/13

Added a fill port and reconfigured the pump res config for better aesthetics and easier drain port access. As well reversed the airflow of the rad fans to take air into the case rather then out the front.

wish I had a better camera but It looks great, everything went to plan and is solid as a rock! lots of measuring and planning with dremel and fabrications smile.gif

Thank you here are some updated pics I'm waiting on the drain valve and the last 90 degree fitting to complete the loop.

I love where I've made the ssd a feature attaching it on the side of the power supply

ha ha that looks awesome i just noticed that ssd too.The way you have that setup is so clean I like it. By the way is tour ram spaced correctly or are you adding more in the two other empty slots?

Good call. The ram is not in correct slots for single channel. They should be place in corresponding colored slots. Check your mobo manual. thumb.gif

Lol yeah that is just for spacing I need to see the height of the ram with the 90 degree fitting with a spacer to make sure it will clear the ram cleanly , I'm waiting on the spacer, fitting and drainage port this week.

I'm working on cable management and lighting now, then will fill the loop and finish the side panel hopefully all this week I'll keep the pics and video log going smile.gif

It really means a lot when enthusiasts like you comment it drives me to do better and take pride in my work , thank you all for your comments smile.gif

Crap I got the drain port, but needed another attachment its $3.69 piece and I spent $9.89 on shipping it frown.giffrown.gif

cable management is done, the 3TB HDD was mounted behind the case and I didnt have any room beside the power supply like I had done in my previous Antec build.

I should be finished this completely and list it by Tuesday smile.gif
