[Help] First time building a PC

Thread Starter
Hello,

First time I am building a new PC and I think this hardware is comfortable

Mobo: ASRock b75 Pro3-m
CPU: Intel i3 - 3220
PSU: Corsair VS350 350 Watt
RAM: Corsair 4GB(4x 1GB) DDR3 - CMV4GX3M1A1333C9
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO
Cabinet: Cooler Master CM 500 Force (Support USB 3.0 Version)

Please suggest me, Its a good config or need to change it and 350 Watt PSU is enough. Later I will also add Graphic card(max 11 watt usages)

Thanks,

A couple changes I may suggest are upgrading the 3220 to a 3225 for the extra $15, you get HD4000 graphics so you won't really need to add a discrete card unless you wanna do some more intensive gaming. I also might bump the RAM up to 8GB if you're going to be using a lot of programs with other background services running. What OS are you going with?

Windows 7 OS.

Thanks for suggestion for CPU, My RAM usage is 2GB maximum.

pretty solid system, as buffsportsman said. Upgrade the 3220 to a 3225.

If you can find a 4gb (2x2gb) ram sticks, then you might be able to save some money, instead of the 1x4gb.

Ah, I guess if you're not getting too close on RAM usage you'll be fine. I guess I do have a lot of background processes going usually. The B75 board is a good one, depending on the prices when you buy, I also suggest the MSI B75MA-E33 board, as I have it in my HTPC and it's a really great board.

Other than that, the build really looks great, glad you decided to put an SSD in the build. If you're wanting to cut down on the price, there are cheaper SSDs out there, I enjoy my M4 very much, and it has better speeds than I'll ever saturate.
