Obsidian 900d- is air cooling a madness?

Hello guys
My current case, which is Cooler master HAF X, got a little bit old and I felt a need to upgrade my rig. Here is a simple question . Did I make a wrong choice by purchasing Obsidian 900d ? I have always dreamed about this case so I made a purchase. I know it is meant for WC, but it is advertised as both AC and WC case.
I am planning to put in there Intel CORE I7-4770K 3.5GHz + Be Quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 2 . This is by far the best air cooling I can get so there shouldn't be any problems, right?

My future build in this case:

MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING, Z87

Intel CORE I7-4770K 3.5GHz LGA1150 \

Corsair Obsidian Series 900D CC-9011022-WW

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC ACX 3GB

Be Quiet! DARK ROCK PRO 2

if AIR cooling is your primary concern, then the 900D is not the correct choice in that price/size category. IMO the best air cooling case on the market today is still the FT02/RV02-E. if flexibility for future custom liquid is taken into consideration, then then 900D is not a bad choice.

Appreciate your input. What about build quality tho? 900d seems to have a really nice finish to it.

Eh build quality on the 900D I bought mine when they were released and honestly I blew my budget out of the water trying to justify the size of the case which is easy to do. Back to build quality it has some nice features but some things feel cheap such as the drive bays and I have always had a problem with the bottom doors and my window panel you have to jiggle it to get it to come off its been that way since day one. I think they could have charged a few extra dollars and done it a little better but for the size and if you plan on going watercooling its not a bad case by no means. My debate was between the Silverstone TJ11 which I always wanted to do until the Corsair 900D came out then it just made sense price wise and still have the same amount of space to do it.

Damn it than. Gotta think about water cooling. I hope AC will be enough for the time being. I am really curious what temps I will get in comparison to haf x case. Will see in 2 days time and post results here.
