First time Overclocker - Looking for advice, tips and/or walkthrough

First off, what I have.

i5 4670K
MSI Z87i Motherboard
EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked (Reference design)
8 GB ram

Sitting in a Silverstone SG05 mini ITX case (lots of vents for cooling)
I have installed a liquid cooler running a push/pull fan system. Idle temps at 25 degrees, up to 50 under load.

I think I have the temp room to OC and would like to push my computer to optimization while remaining stable.

If anyone has a similar build and completed an OC, I would love to now the steps or assumed max settings I can safely set.

Thanks in advance.

Sadly, there isn't such a thing as max settings when it comes to overclocking. When you buy a processor, you enter the 'silicon lottery' and depending on what part of the waffer your chip is from, it will perform abit differently than one from a different part.
So say I had a close-to-the-center chip (better), and you had a farther-to-the-edge chip (not as good), if you try getting the same overclock that I have, you might fry your chip (worse case), or it might not work.

Also, vise versa would leave a better chip underutilized.
I would personally say just go for it with the overclock, try to keep your temps reasonable (80 degrees using synthetic programs like Intel Burn Test is fine) and don't put your voltage above 1.3v (as a general guideline for inexperienced OCers).
Now, if you're worried about killing your processor (which can happen, but it's unlikely unless you aren't paying attention), Intel has something called the Intel Tuning Plan, which will give you a warranty replacement even if your processor is operating outside of specifications (i.e. OCed). The cost is different for the different processors, but to find out more, look here.

Thanks for the advice. So much I don't know. I will check out a few Youtube and Wiki Tutorials and see where it takes me.

Thanks again
