Also, since I have updated my BIOS, I am no longer able to change CPU multiplier from the BIOS. It just won't let me. I can do it from the OS using CLICKBIOS II.

UPDATE: I have resolved the problem.

What I did:
  • Overclocked CPU to a stable 4.4 Ghz. 4.5 Ghz would blue screen after 5 minutes of Prime95
  • Updated to AMD 13.11 Beta 9.4 drivers
  • Ran the "Gaming" profile from ASUS's GPU Tweak.
  • Installed another intake fan on the front of my case and one at the bottom to guarantee good airflow.
Now, BF3 and BF4 use 97-99% of my GPU.

So what do you think was the problem?
Unstable CPU clock or ASUS GPU tweak?
Or heat?

I have no idea. My brothers computer is experiencing the same problem. He has a 750k @ 4.0 Ghz + MSI 270x. RAGE QUIT!

I have the same problem with fx-8320 and 280x, my cpu temps are not too high at all and yet my gpu usage stays at around 50%. And I get drops to 40's in both battlefield 3 and 4 and if i turn down the details I still get around 60ish average fps but gpu usage goes down. tried everything, no hope!
