thanks I was just wondering because I have cod ghosts and it runs terribly and bf4s supposed to be more demanding than cod. I guess its just bad optimization from infinity ward.

Yes, this is with BF4 + Google Chrome browser and two tabs (Battlelog and OCN) + Origin running in the background with some monitoring programs

wow, I run BF4 maxed out, skype / origin / music player / FRAPS / NOD32 and mine is about 3.9GB

I remember checking my free RAM when playing BF4 with 8GB RAM and seeing about 200MB free, and this is with minimum stuff running in the background. I upgraded to 16GB RAM just to be on the safe side.

I have no idea what you guys are doing lol. like I said my max usage was like 3.9GB with a lot of background stuff running.

Maybe i had other things running in the background, so 3.9GB sounds reasonable to me.

There is no way BF4 is using 7GB of RAM. I know that BF4 uses around 3GB ish of RAM but nowhere near 7GB.
