I did try this trick and it seems to work as I replaced it with AS5 and it keeps it under 95c target as around 92 to 93c without cure time ..it keeps the clocks nailed to 947/1250 with a run of BF 4 SP and no down clocking..

Replaced a paste as well, but it really doesnt help much. Reference cooler is just overwhelmed by this GPU.
