Tri Monitor Setup - Having trouble with post display in portrait (everything is rotated) any help?

Thread Starter
I have 3 monitors in portrait mode currently and while its probably unlikely (and I couldn't find jack via google) is there any way to get the uefi to turn the post info and/or boot logo to the proper orientation?

I have to shift my head 45 degrees to work in the bios and its not a deal breaker but its certainly a nuisance. I KNOW there is a way atleast for the boot logo as I had it show up turned the proper way (portrait) in my center monitor but it was only 1x and I was messing with a lot of stuff due to pc issues at the time so I couldn't replicate lol.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer tongue.gif

no one using a tri monitor setup (in portrait?) are we stuck with a sideways bios and post screen?

Plenty of triple monitor setups, but not a lot of them in portrait. LOL, this is not a common problem and I cant think of a way around it. Just keep bumping your thread a couple times a day for a few days as this is truly an international board and that way you can get all the time zones. Perhaps someone will chime in if there is a solution.

TTT! Still searching. Wondering if this has something to do with CSM settings in the UEFI and whether legacy Is enabled or not. The order in which things load etc?

I know its possible because Ive seen the gigabyte loading symbol turned the proper way (horizontal) on my center monitor turned to (portrait) but im not sure what setting did it because A) it wasn't my priority at the time I was working on something else and B) I think it may have only been displaying to 1 monitor at the time. Either way that would be a start though.

I know we have people using multi monitor setups and if someone sees this and has your bios or post screen or boot logo displaying horizontally (when your monitors are setup portrait as I assume most are) even if you don't know how you did it, please let me know. Its real important to me.

FWIW im using a Z87 OC FORCE w/ the newest bios.

hah, surfing my posts and came across this one. Not only did I misread your post, but during my time away I came across that forum anyhow. Naturally I cant register courtesy of my ISP thinking they know what emails we poor customers consider spam and pre sorting it for us.

Either way, ive yet to find the info there, here or elsewhere. So shameless bump. Still looking to determine how I can rotate my uefi screen and/or my bios splash screen. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume it has something to do w/ legacy vs uefi in the bios and/or getting video drivers to load pre OS or something.

Someone has to know sumpthin! <3

Ftr, I have a toothache and it sucks horribly bad. They are officially the worst and when your afraid of the dentist it becomes a life threatening situation frown.gif

TTT

(if NOTHING else, is it possible to have the uefi display on all 3 monitors upon entry?) the only way this works is if you set it to boot in classic mode (looks like old bios) however it once you set it to display in HD/UEFI one display will pop up as uefi and the other 2 in classic mode.

cant win at all frown.gif
