if your planning on OCing like your on crack get the P5B-Dlx and better heatsink. the P5W tops out at about 450FSB (and thats if your lucky).

as for the video card, get the 8800 if you have the cash or for futurproofing. if not, get the 7950 or x1950. depends on your taste of GPU.

I agree, try and get a better heatsink. That beast will want some good cooling as the e6600 run rather hot.

And i would also go with the 8800, its the way to go, however a 7950 will do you just fine

You want the asus p5b Deluxe, and i think zalman just brought out a new cooler. Im not sure if a tuniq is compatible.

If you can afford it, get sli'ed 8800gtx. But thats overkill anyways. Even a 8800gts would do you just fine. I say single 8800gtx. Spend the other cash on beer

yeah thats the beastly OCing board. i shouldve done my researched before i dropped $2000 on my system.

my P5W hit 446FSB but there just wasnt enough voltage settings on the board to keep it rock solid stable or go any further than that

and a single 8800 is more than enough. SLI it in a year or two and your still gonna have a sick video card setup.

I agree with everything pinoy said. I wouldnt advise SLI in this early stage of dx10. Just doesnt seem logical.

But yes thats the almighty mobo
