I'm not planning to install any software for the mouse and will the default dpi be at a good setting for average gamer ? I've never had a real gaming mouse before always used cheap mouses. Honestly I'm not even sure what the extra dpi really means, does it mean I'll be able to turn faster in the game I'm not sure. Is cpi and dpi the same thing ? I've played BF games for a while now with my cheap mouse and I do great so I'm really not sure what to expect from a mouse using a higher dpi ?
1) No. The CPI button is not customizable.
2) No. It work, always. You just need the driver to adjust these two CPI values, which the button toggles. Mouse driver also let you adjust the logo's light and scroll's light.
3) Sensei raw's mouse software is ok, no need to avoid it. Install Steelseries Engine and choose whichever you feel comfortable. I recommend 450 cpi for best perfect tracking speed. However, it depends on your taste.
4) CPI = DPI
5) Don't worry about high DPI, it does nothing.
