Antec ISK-110 Build Prep

Thread Starter
Getting ready to build an Antec ISK-110 build for a general use office PC.

Intel Core i3-3245
Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe
Samsung MV-3V4G3D/US
Crucial m4 128 GB
Crucial m4 64GB
Scythe Kozuti ?
Antec Isk-110
Windows 7 Pro

I am not reinventing the wheel, I'm down to two questions based on value proposition.

Questions 1: which is my better value proposition?
I have ordered this:

Intel i3-3245
Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe For $285 After rebates.

I can drive to MicroCenter and get this:

Intel Core i5 4670K
Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI LGA 1150 mini ITX For $315 out the door.

Question 2: I am having a hard time finding a list of quality very quiet CPU coolers, low profile that work in this case, after some hours I'm down to these options, with the Noctua and Scythe on top.
  • Dynatron T450
  • Dynatron T459
  • Noctua NH-L9I
  • Scythe Kozuti
  • ZALMAN CNPS8900 Extreme
Anyone have any real world tests other than from the SPCR.com test from 2012?

My temptation to go for the 4670k is strong. Your PC will be vastly faster. Truth is you probably don;t need it though if all you're running is word and internet. There is always after hours gaming though devil-smiley-019.gif

That is one tiny fricken case. You've exhausted all the options I can think of :/ The noctura and scythe are probably your best bets. Dynatrons are famous for being incredibly loud. There are a few scythe clones out there. Gelid makes one and so does cooler master IIRC
