Best closed loop GPU Coolers for 290x?

Thread Starter
Hello, so my 290x is running pretty hot for my tastes (95c). I wanted to get a closed loop cooler for it soon as possible (open loop isnt feasible for me sadly)

I currently have a corsair h80i on my 3770k and I love it. So quiet and cool even though its at 4.0 ghz.

Anyway, other than the Accelero Hybrid, what other closed loop liquid coolers are available for the 290x? I love how fast this card is but the heat is making me nervous.

Also, dumb question but is it possible to somehow mod a H110 to connect it to a gpu waterblock for a ghetto cooling mod. I know its probably a dumb idea but always wondered.

h80i and h100i are modable to use on the gpu. you would need a seperate fan for the vrm"s. if you don't want to put some effort into it i would advice you to just get the Accelero Hybrid.

If your budget is a little bigger i would sell the h80i and buy a swiftech h220 / h320 and a waterblock for the gpu.
