Older 3DMark version, that still uploads?

Ok, without ranting too much, the current version of 3DMark ticks me off (I haven't installed it in about 6 months or so).

Fact 1) I have a licensed copy of 3DMark 11. I would almost pay $10 for this kind of software; but, the annoying "Upgrade now" always turns me off.

Fact 2) The original release of 3DMark (Firestrike edition) allowed me to upload my results to my online account. You can see one result here: http://www.3dmark.com/is/328646

But now, the current version no longer does. It shows an HTML version yes, but it no longer gets added to my online account. I highly suspect 3DMark removed that from the free version - figured, they want more $$$. Heck, this may be removed from the website portion now.

I missed the $10 cost/sale of 3DMark on Steam a few months ago. I think I'll pay that extortion amount to keep my scores in one place, and allowed it to be linked to.

Does anyone know where I could get 3DMark for $10?

The free versions only allows a limited number of saved results, to save a new one you would have to delete an older one.

I haven't seen any recent deals for 3dmark, it is a pretty good one to buy to be able to run firestrike (most popular) without the extra ones, as well as firestrike extreme.

Nevermind, found it for $3 on eBay. PayPal'd code instantly, activated. Man, that was smooth...

+1 Rep. Thanks!

EDIT: How come I can't give you +REP? There is no button on your post, where it is there on mine.

Exactly. They annoy the hell out of you, and want you to pay to make your benching easier. Really ticks me when a company uses those business practices.
