You are right though, most cases are definitely styled for men.
It will be an Intel build, just waiting on the Retail Edge holiday deal. Primarily for school work but will have something along the lines of a 560 Ti in it for counterstrike and portal on occasion. Not overly concerned about cooling, but still don't want to fry the components.
well if black is her thing we can work with it. Makes things a lot easier in fact. Any cards besides a short video card? (beauty of low end video cards is you can fit them in smaller cases
) I'm still thinking about atx vs mATX vs ITX.
The bitfenix is a gaming case. It will take a 12 inch video card and a 240mm watercooler, and is just about the only ITX case that will. If you want to leave that kind of build room it's the best choice but if not we may be able to do better.

going for black teutonic matx here:Rosewill line-M-A
Has the advantage of being super cheap and great cooling. Will take a 12" card if you remove the hard drive bay. A bit boring but not bad.BitFenix Phenom midnight black
Classy and very clean looking. Has that ikea tombstone vibe. Good case but near the top of your price range.Inwin Z670T
Cheap IF you use the included 300w power supply which may be not that greatInwin Z653T
Better case, funkier front, but in a good way. Not particularly cheap.Cooler Master n200
Decent case, low price, good look.Edited by bombastinator - 11/19/13 at 9:54am
