Calling all ram experts

Thread Starter
Meh.. Compared to myself your all experts, so welcome!
I'm picking out some ram for my Haswell build and I've come up with this set. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231587
Everybody seems to like them.. But how do I find out if they're a) single sided or dual sided [they look dual sided in picture to me] b) Hynix or Samsung c) How can I figure out if they're 2.8ns or .5ns.
Honestly I don't know if I'm even asking the right questions. I've just been reading about stuff, got confused. Now I need some clearance. If you can point me to a place where I can read about this or just explain it to me please do so. Any help is appreciated.
The rig is going to be for benching, gaming, daily use, etc.

Last thing I've seen 2400C10 use were dual-sided Samsung on kit of week 1323.
ICs might have changed since then, however.

As far as this RAM Goes, I have two things to say.

1. G-Skill Ram does not overclock we'll in my experiences.
2. It's heat sink does ten do leave the installer bleeding, they make the nudges very sharp.

If you do not mind some blood and you do not mind not over locking you are golden. Also, keep in mind that theheatsinks are large if you are intending to sit a heats ink on top of your processor.

By all means, I am sharing my experience, but I am glad to see that you had a good one. As far as hulk smashing, i would sure hope that people don't do that!

haha tongue.gif the only time ive had trouble with ram was when a friend paid me to redo his comp for him, he had a big hulking heatsink sitting over the top of his ram, many curse words and throwing screwdrivers, i finally got them out.

I've had to place a CPU Power connector that sat under my heatsink, I bleed like crazy that day. I did win though.
