Only thing I would change would maybe get a better monitor, mechanical keyboard and a better psu like a seasonic g series or cooler master v series. Also if you only plan on one gpu save yourself some money and get a good 550w psu. Finally if you are only gaming maybe just get 8gb of ram since its so pricey right now and if you need more buy it later. But that's just my two cents.

If you can even tell me how to rep you I shall! This forum is a little more complex, but I think in a good way once I understand it.

I have a question thread here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1443484/is-my-case-cooling-ideal

I got the 750W corsair for $90 after rebate so I went with it, I wasn't sure how much more than the rated wattage OCing would pull.

I guess I'm not a huge monitor afficionado... Hopefully it doesn't handicap/waste the GPU I have, I figured the 1ms response time was good.

Then for the RAM...well I love running firefox and right now my 8gb RAM laptop is sitting of 70% RAM load, so I figured I'd get 16GB. I know DDR4 is coming right? I figure I'll wait until the cpu/gpu/mobo are approaching "outdatedness" and adopt DDR4 at that point once things have matured.

Ok that all makes sense then. I'm no monitor aficionado either, I was merely going on that by the price lol. I guess the 16gb of ram will be good. Always good to have more than less anyways. And I'm not sure if you can rep because you are so new to the forum but it shows bottom right of whatever I post. Beside the multi, quote and reply buttons.

Ok cool, I'll rep you when I see the option to.

Well, one thing I "paid for" by not paying for a more pricey monitor is that it is NOT VESA; this is something I had no idea about until I got the monitor and a mount and was like...wait.

I just assumed all monitors had some standard...didn't know the name, and didn't know it wasn't on all monitors. Anyways, I'm returning the mount, I can live with two monitors just on the stands. (The second one, which I wont play games on, but just use for itunes or writing documents or what have you is an acer s230hl)

Personally I would:
swap out the SSD. I have a sandisk and it tends to be a bit on the relative slow side,
I would personally also go with a R9-280x
Get some new fans for the h100i, somethging like Noctua NF-F12s or Corsair SP120s.

Honestly anyone could look at that and say oh do this or that, but in all seriousness that's a really solid build. And of course once you build it if you find one of your choices is letting you down, you can just replace it!

OH wait 2 more quick things. If you will be using rebates print them out the day you order, had a company drop a $30 from their site 2 days before the deadline. And Welcme to OCN.

Thank you sir, and ohhhhh yeah I'm way ahead of you. I have a folder with receipts, and warranty print outs. Going to purchase the "Intel Performance Tuning Protection Plan" I opted going this route instead of what would have been a $60 3 year store warranty with microcenter. I ended up getting the CPU for $200 which is not bad at all.

I suppose I shall find out if the fans are to my liking sound wise. I'm okay with some sound, it lets me know its running, the air flow is another beast... and thats what my other thread is on..though I know it will be debated until the end of time.

Looks pretty solid. For what it's worth your monitor is OK. Your monitor will likely outlast the useful life of the PC, but you can always use it as a second screen if you want to upgrade later.
