Welcome to OCN! thumb.gif

At 1024x768 you really don't need something powerful at all considering it is about 38% the resolution of a 1080p monitor.

I don't know what your budget is, but here is a nice card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130827

I used to play a lot of flight simulator and I found that the GPU doesn't matter as much as the CPU. At least Flight Simulator X seemed to be really CPU hungry. But pretty much any sub $150 card will perform well at 1024x768. I think your CPU is holding you back the most really though. If anything, save up for a better CPU too.

Anyways good luck!
