Most quiet 120x38 mm radiator fan?

Thread Starter
I'm trying to find the most quiet 120x38 mm fan for XSPC AX240 radiator (40mm thick, 16 FPI) (First water-cooled build)

The max height clearance I'm working with is 85.5mm. With 40mm AX240, I'd have 45.5mm left of fan(s) to work with.

I want to use XSPC AX240 mainly due to its aesthetic (white). I initially wanted to do a pull with 25mm fans, but 16 FPI seems rather thick for that (is it?). Since there's room to fit 38mm fans, I figured why not.

Are there any fans out there you guys would like to recommend?

Also, how much difference would it be if I just suck it up and get 25mm fans for a push-pull with 35mm Rad (high FPI) or a pull with 55mm rad (low FPI) instead of what I've mentioned above?

My priority is Aesthetic = dB > Performance

Any inputs are appreciated.

Thanks.

I use the Corsair high pressure low noise fans on my rads. They are fantastic. Run at 500rpm, silent and cool my 4770k @4.5.

@Ghost - I was going to get those SP120 and Helix 120 for the rads, but I'm mainly inquiring about 120x38mm fans.

Any thoughts on these?

SilenX 120x120x38mm - 18dBA - 90CFM iXtrema Pro Fan (IXP-76-18)

Yate Loon 120mm x 38mm Fan - Low Speed (D12SL-12D)

From what have read in the past the yate fans are supposed to be pretty good, not sure of the others without reading up.

I have 3 SanAces which I have used before and they are stellar. They under volt very nicely (mine did, and had zero clicking noise) with the ability to push air through pretty much anything. In general 38mm fans have a click when they are undervolted I know my older pair of SanAces had this clicking when I tried running them slower (not the newer ones as stated before). Take that into consideration if you have some priority on noise, and they might not under volt as low as you want them to meaning more noise.
