[ TT ] LSI SandForce SF3700 Announced: SATA III and PCIe Native to up to 1800 MB/s - Page 4

All of those are still useless to >90% of this site or the people these end up being advertised to in the final products.

..And removing as much of a system bottleneck as possible? I've never had to wait on any of my SSDs...Heck, I've had the CPU bottleneck on what I'd consider relatively light tasks before my SSD. (That goes for my i3 370m and FX-4170 but not this i5)

Bulldozer and first gen i3 aren't exactly what most of us are running.

Optimal sustained read speeds are nice to put down on paper and all, but what are the real, uncompressed random 4K read and write speeds? And will it have a huge amount of show stopping bugs that kill our SSDs this time around? Either way, they will have to have a perfect track record for the entire SF3700 generation before I am willing to ever buy a SandForce based drive again.
