At a complete loss...

Thread Starter
I have a Micro Atx Case in need of a Micro ATX motherboard, I really wanted to go with an FX-6300 but the Micro atx boards seem lacking... Then I see these FM2+ boards and chips and the boards are absolutely gorgeous and seem to have far better VRM's. However I dont know or understand the down side of say AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz which is a quad core, and to me looks like a solid chip, though it is an APU, how does that translate into performance vs an FX-6300 vs my sig rig? I would like to use a new graphics card and updated ram as well.

Please help

This review might help you :

I would go for a FM2 socket . Even if you loose a little in performance you might gain on future upgrades . In January 2014 AMD will release new APU .
