At IDF 2013, Intel emphasized on the fact that there will be plenty of performance gains and 30% improvement in power consumption in Broadwell processors compared to Haswell. The high-end unlocked CPUs will feature Iris Pro GT3e graphics with dedicated 128 MB eDRAM memory. Broadwell-K will be the first desktop CPUs to feature Iris Pro GPU which will result in approximately 80% boost in graphics performance compared to previous generations.
Who needs a high-end Core i7 chip with Iris Pro? Wouldn't he be using a dedicated GPU?
