Akasa Flexa FP5S PWM Fan Splitter cable help needed

Thread Starter
hi guys,

i have a question and im hoping someone can help me,

i have 7 fans in my computer, i have just bought 2 Akasa Flexa FP5S PWM Fan Splitter cable's

http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Cables&type_sub=Fan Cable Adapters&model=AK-CBFA07-45

can i daisy chain them? i was thinking if i plug the first set into my motherboard the plug the second set into the original set, would this work?
also each set requires a SATA power source, so, if i link them both together do i need 2 SATA cables to power them?

thanks in advance for any help,

You can daisy chain. 1st splitter plugs into motherboard PWM fan header., 2nd splitter plugs into 1st spitter's master/control fan socket and master/control fan plugs into 2nd splitter's master/control fan socket. The master/control socket is one with green rpm lead. The green rpm lead feeds rpm signal from fan through splitters to motherboard PWM fan header. It's the PWM CPU cooler fan socket on splitter.

You need to plug both Sata connections to PSU.
