Builind my own PC and got a problem with cooling and ram!

Hi guys,

I have installed a Scythe Mugen 4 but I cant mount the fans because the RAM is in the way. But when I mountlthe RAM in slot 3 and 4 it does fit. However on the motherboard a small picture is showing that says

DIM 1
DIM 2 FIRST
DiM 3
DIM 4 FIRST

So it tells me to mount the first 2 RAM in slot 2 and 4 but if I do that I cant install the fans. However a Lowpin profile should fix this issue. but I dont know what to do. Mount the memoery in slot 3 and 4 or swap them for low profile.

Hope you can help me with this cuz I dont know what to do

If you put the ram in slots 3 and 4 you will sun them in single channel mode. This is not a problem unless you are running programs that are heavily memory dependent.
Basically, make a cost-benefit analysis of buying new ram vs. taking the hit in performance for single channel ram and choose the best one. For everyday use/gaming you will not notice the difference.
