Hey OCer's

I've checked around the web for weeks and I cannot find a good solution to this problem.

My native resolution on my screen is 1920x1080. When I try to run Far Cry 3 at this resolution, it will crash/black screen after 10 mins. This is regardless of video quality settings. I can set it to "Ultra" or to "Low" doesnt matter.

All temps are fine. My fan/cooling profile in Afterburner keeps the card at 58-60 C.

But at 1600x900 I am good. I can play all day and night. Why is this, and what should I be doing to fix this? When I run Unigine's "Valley" or "Heaven", I can average 40-45 FPS on this resolution, depending on the graphics clock.

My hardware:

Mobo: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
AMD FX 8350 @ 4.4 ghz (was at 4.6, turned it down thinking this was the problem)
GPU: MSI R7950 Twin Frozr OC Edition w/Boost
Monitor: ASUS VS228H-P (connected via HDMI)

In-Game Settings that cause crash:

RES: 1920x1080
Fullscreen, Windowed, and Borderless (All crash)
Max GPU buffer frame: 0 (have tried all settings 1-5)
SSAO, HDAO, and HBAO (all have been tried)

I have tried to deactivate the SSAO category all together by editing my GamerProfile, but for some reason it defaults back to "On" with the option to choose between SSAO, HDAO, and HBAO

I went into my Bios and set PCIE Frequency to "Auto", it was previously set to "100".

Should the PCIE Frequency be adjusted upwards?

Other Settings that have been tried and/or active:

MSI AfterBurner "Force Constant Voltage" both on and off have been tried.
AMD Turbo Core: "Off"
All Power saving options are turned off in Bios
HT Link Speed: Has been tried at 2000, 2200, and 2400mhz (2600 not available unless CPU Bus Freq is turned up)

Any suggestions??

I just want to play normally like ever other jerk I see uploading the videos of their games to YouTube
