Christmas + Birthday Hardware Decision?????

post #1 of 2
Thread Starter
Alright so for my christmas and birthday gift my parents said i could go up to around $400 for a gift. Should i completely water cool my system, get the new R9 290 (i plan on getting one eventually) or get the corsair obsidian 900d?

My current build is the following;

AMD FX 8350 @ 4.8GHz
Crosshair V Formula-Z
8GB G.Skill Sniper 1600MHz OC to 2133MHz
AMD FX Watercooler (Purely for aesthetics)
MSI GTX 760 2GB Gaming Edition OC Base Clock 1135MHz
Zalman Z11 Plus

I'm really leaning towards the Watercooling components but also really want the 290 and case.

Any suggestions?????

I'm not a fan of watercooling, also there is no need for that if your temperature is acceptable.
Go for the R9 290X or maybe get an SSD and 1440p monitor.
