Then you can try the WRT54G specific firmware but if generic didn't work, this probably won't either.

Not much else help I can give without having access to your hardware.

Before you flash though, reset the router, update to the latest Official Linksys firmware for your router, then reset the router again. Now flash your router with DD-WRT Micro generic. If it doesn't work, try the Micro WRT54G I linked above.

This is worth buying the router just for this lol. If you wanna do some cool tweaks and stuff...

Way better than my old netgear I was using. No drops ever so far.

and Im not able to flash it

all it says is : upgrade are failed

on wikipedia, it is said that it should work

WRT54G v6 fully supported
